I wanted to turn a small carboy which was relegated to the cellar for many years with my beloved paper straws! It took a lot of patience and time, but the result seems good!
Here is the carboy!
The newspaper made into small pieces have all covered by pasting with PVA glue diluted with a little water.
While it dried adhesive well I started doing a lot of paper straws! Then many rolls of different sizes!
Rings oval turned around a little too close them a pen and glued.
Other facts in different ways, as we advised the imagination! I have them so glued, this time with PVA glue without water, on the whole surface of the carboy creating various decorations!
After having covered the whole, I passed again with a brush elongated glue with a little water and I did well dry. I prepared a mixture with 3 parts white acrylic, 1 part PVA glue and a little water, and I painted all the squiggles going well everywhere try to patch to get the color in all spaces!
I then painted a beautiful red brick!
I spent a brush dipped in a very short off-white color on decorations to put more emphasis.
I then passed back across again slightly red brick!
