Christmas doll socks without seams
This is super tender, striking and original idea to decorate your home. Big and small will love these cute Christmas doll you can do using socks or stockings without giving a single stitch sewing !!! Sounds a little strange, I know, but true. Are divine and you can make them in different sizes depending on the size of the socks that you use for this idea … Let’s do it together!
Materials required:
- A pair of socks or stockings.
- Scissors.
- Universal glue.
- Colored buttons.
- Fabric scraps.
- Pins with colored heads.

- Elastic bands.
- Or cotton wadding for stuffing.

Let’s start ….
As a first step we need to take socks, elastic bands and scissors. We must cut the middle to the heel height thereof, as seen in the photograph.
We take the part of the elastic half, inside out and put in place a very firm cut to close elastic band.
We turn and take the average or cotton wadding.
We make medium to large ball, depending on the size of the sock, to the body of the doll. We put the ball inside and split made with a new elastic band.
Again, we take another cotton ball or batting, but this time smaller to shape head. We placed inside the sock and again closed with a rubber band. We must be a figure like image. If necessary, we must go correcting folds not fit well. It is taking shape !!!
We look for scraps of fabric and cut a scarf for our doll.
The knotted around his neck and thus hide the rubber band. If necessary we have to cut the excess fabric. This scarf can also make it with pieces of felt.
Step followed, took the pins. We can use blue, green, black, etc. to the eyes and one other color (in this case yellow) to the nose.
Thus he will be nice and friendly.
Then we take buttons, put them a universal glue and paste in the belly of our doll.
Now, we take the other side of the sock or average. With it we will have a seamless hat for our doll.
The cutting edge we make it bend inward.
And we place it on the head. At this point you can choose to place some points to fix universal glue, if you want it. I’ve left so loose.
Then we take one of the monkeys we did in other craft and paste it to hat. It is a lovely touch, but if you want you can add other things.
