Christmas wreath with cardboard tubes
There is not no time! The Christmas hits us the door! Christmas detail as I propose to do this Christmas wreath easy and recyclable materials. Search some cardboard tubes and get to work! In less time than you think you’ll have it ready! We started?
Materials:
- Cardboard tubes of toilet paper, 13 approx.
- Ruler and pencil.
- Scissors or cutter.
- Base cutting.
- Green acrylic paint.
- Brush.
- Hot glue gun.
- Medium red buttons.
You need to assemble cutting cardboard tubes. For this example, I cut pieces of each tube 1.5 cm thick. Total Crown requires 75 pieces of cardboard.
You can start painting the green tubes, then marks and short pieces. If necessary you can touch up the paint on the pieces afterwards.
The parts already painted and ready we will use to build a “flowers” or “stars”. Each requires 5 pieces of cardboard.
We take the pieces, fold them in half and forming the present flower or star. When we are sure we can glue together with hot glue gun. In total we set 15 flowers.
When they are ready, we split into two groups: 9 and 6 units each. With them we set the two levels of our Christmas wreath.
9 are present in a circular pattern and stick together. Reserve.
Moreover, now we put together a new piece with the remaining 6 units. Also circular. It is good to present all the flowers or stars before gluing to ensure that they are best.
When we are sure we stuck together and present the resulting smaller piece on the larger than we did at the beginning.
It’s time to glue them together with heat gun Glue and verify that the hanging fits. If necessary we retouch with glue areas that require it.
It is time for the final detail !!! You can use buttons, beads, Christmas balls or anything else you want. I decided with beautiful bright red buttons to hit on the center of the flowers or the smaller estrelas crown piece.
To hang can use a tape, fishing line or strong thread. You can also customize and add more a sign of welcome to your home.
To enjoy this new Christmas! CONGRATULATIONS!
