Very simple master class on making the rim “Minnie Mouse”. It can be used on the Thematic Day of birth or as a supplement to the carnival costume.
You need the following materials:
– Black or red rim (can be any rim obtyanut satin ribbon the color you want);
– Black felt 3mm thick (roughly 10h20sm);
– Red white peas satin ribbon (width 5 cm, length 30 cm);
– Red and black thread;
– Scissors.
From paper draw the ear template, guided photo (or putting a paper to the screen and draw out the pattern).
 
Using the template cut out two ears (in mirror image) of black felt.
We sew ears to the rim, departing from the center of the rim 2.5 cm (between the ears 5 cm).
 
Cut off from satin ribbon 25 cm (edge ribbon melted with a lighter). Fold the edges to the center and sew the edges together.
 
In the center of the tape laying folds and fix them with a few stitches.
Take the remaining length of satin ribbon (sections also melted with a lighter).
This segment of 5×5 cm tape, folding the edges to the center, slightly overlaying. Sew the edges together, not capturing the layer that will be on the front side.
Get strip (2.0 x 5.0 cm) are wrapped bow in the middle, sew the strip edges together from the wrong side bow.
That turned a bow on the front side.
 
We put a bow to the wrong side of the rim, at the center of the rim, between the ears and sew it to the rim.
