How to make cardboard cabinet in the kitchen
Hello! The vastness of the masters of the country, many masters have created out of cardboard furniture. This MK I will share with you my experience with this material.
In my kitchen in the middle of the working area stands at 30 cm box hood 90 cm wide. And it is located between the sink and the stove! Therefore, the furniture for such simple dishes can not buy out – make it to order. But it’s very expensive. So I found myself for the cheaper option – hinged cabinet made of cardboard boxes on the drawing wall and floor design still stand under it.
So, we proceed to the cabinet manufacturing. Let’s make a curtain to the kitchen cabinet dimensions: width – 86 cm, height – 52 cm depth – 23 cm.
We need to:
1. Corrugated cardboard three-layer (cardboard take tight: when a mild compression on the cut two fingers inner corrugated layer has to keep in shape and not prominaetsya)

14. Carport (size: 6 cm) – 2 pcs.
15. Metal plate with holes (size: 5h14 cm) – 2 pcs.
16. Furniture handle (size: 96 mm) – 2 pcs.
Getting started with a blank stiffeners for locker frame.
Cut out the technical knife made of corrugated cardboard:
3 parts of this form on the specified size (size hereinafter are given in centimeters), …

Particular emphasis I want to make that cut out all the details of it with a knife, rather than scissors to cut cardboard on crinkled.
For all the details of the claim. 6 cut a groove 3 for further assembly of the cabinet frame. Groove width (L) equal to the thickness of the board (fig a.).
IMPORTANT: The distance between the grooves on all items must be the same (Fig b.)! So we cut out the grooves on one piece, and then impose it on the following, draw out a pencil and cut out the grooves.
We note and cut slots in 2 parts of n. 3. It is also important that the grooves on these items match.
Impose part of n. 8 with the cut grooves in the third part of n. 3 and sides make the mark (Fig. A).
Do not cut.
Somewhere in these areas are subsequently screwed screws from the hinge pins for the locker door and in these areas should be sealed carton (p. 13).
Impose part of n. 8 with the cut grooves on the part of n. 4, we note the slots and cut them. The interior angles of the part already carved grooves will look like this:
From parts p. 7, 8, 10 collect the cabinet frame. Detail of n. 10 A is inserted into the groove parts of n. 7 (Fig. A) two pieces of n. 8, the slots B, C.
To our stiffeners do not “go” as they please, in different directions, fastening them together with tape molar.
In parts of n. 9 to measure the distance between the marks made (Fig. A). For each measurement interval is cut to 3 parts made of cardboard and 3 parts of x / cotton fabric width of 3 cm.
Glue them together, well promazyvaya PVA glue, in order (Fig a.): Cardboard (1) + cloth (2) + cardboard (3) + cloth (4) + cardboard (5) + cloth (6). Glue the main part (7) (Fig. A, b) and put into a press to dry (Fig. C).
Once dry, glue the fabric “zadereveneet” and then in these places for the door hinge screws are locked tight.
Coat with glue PVA slices frame locker with most serving side small ribs (Fig. A).
Impose frame on detail n. 13 (Fig. B).
Aligns and put under pressure to dry (Fig. C).
Merge the frame with detail item. 13 using PVA glue and paper strips (Fig. d). (Here I used the paper for sketching).
Cut the cardboard back wall of the cabinet (Fig. A).
At the top of this detail in the future will be attached metal plates and sheds, so the cardboard is necessary to condense.
To do this, put the cage on the cut piece and on one of the wide sides of the part makes a mark where later be glued small stiffening ribs (Figure b.).
We draw such detail, as shown in the photograph (Fig s.).
Remove the dimensions of the parts and for each side is cut to 3 such items made of cardboard and 3 – of tissue (Fig. d). Further, as in Sec. 13, glue them together and glue on the back wall of the cabinet at the marked locations (Fig. F).
We put the press under dry.
While drying the rear wall of the cabinet, glue on the frame with less protruding side edges of small cardboard corners (Fig. A). (Here in the course I went from boxes of medicines, toothpaste, breakfast cereals, etc.) it is better to bend the corners of a 1.5 cm (Fig. B).

Promazyvayut sections ribs and the second side of the cardboard corners with white glue (Fig. A). Impose frame on the rear wall (Fig. B). Levels. Fingers are pressed cardboard corners (Fig. C).
We put the press under dry (Fig. D).
Close the top, bottom and sides of the cabinet. To make up for this detail, draw a straight line on the cardboard. It is applied to the frame of the cabinet the right side of us. Contours on the perimeter of a pencil. Remove the frame. Cut the resulting rectangle.
Next, as in claim 16, 17, is pasted to the carcass corner edges Cardboard. Coat with them and cuts ribs with white glue (Fig. A). Placed on top of the item n. 18 (Fig. B). Overturn. Levels. Fingers are pressed cardboard corners (Fig. C). We put the press under dry (Fig. D).
Similar action We perform for all parties.
Close the top, bottom and sides of the shelves. To make up for this detail, we are the measures taken, as shown in Fig. a. According to the obtained draw a rectangle the size and cut.
Then, as in Sec. 19 is glued to the frame edges of the cardboard corners. Coat with their ribs and cuts rigidity Kole PVA (Fig. B). Impose on top of the cut part (Fig. C) and put the press (Fig. D). Dry them.
To close the rear wall of shelves, measure the distance from the cabinet to the rear wall of the projecting part of n. 4 (Fig. A). Cut the cardboard strip width equal to our dimension, and of arbitrary length (Fig. B). Bend it in several places (Fig. B) and glue to the back wall of the cabinet using the cardboard corners (Fig. C).
Cut the cardboard back wall shelves. Coat with glue PVA glued early strip of corrugated board and the side of the parts of n. 4 (Fig. C) and close the back wall of shelves (Fig. D).
We put the press under dry.
Here’s our locker assembled. Now you have to prepare it for painting.
Take a newspaper. Severing a strip width of about 5 cm (Fig. A). Coat with striped with white glue (Fig. B). Glue shelves in a corner (fig. C). Top coat with PVA glue (Fig. D).
So papered first inner and outer corners of the cabinet (Fig. E), and then the entire cabinet (Fig. F), using a wider strip of the newspaper.
Paint locker paint 2-3 layers.
To get this color, mix 0.5 liters of white paint with 5 tablespoons of paste tinting PROFICOLOR color “lemon.”
Then cover with varnish in 2 layers.
Cut the cardboard cabinet door.
Each door is cut by at least another 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard.
Door thickness in finished form (the number of layers of corrugated cardboard) depends on the length of the screws, which will continue to be fixed mounted hinges for doors. I only had 3 layers of corrugated cardboard.
Screws I 15 mm.
Inner sections for one piece door (single layer corrugated cardboard) Wallpapers newspaper (1). In this part, we will then weave a pattern of newspaper tubes.
The two remaining parts of this door (two layer corrugated cardboard) are glued together, paving between x / cotton fabric as in points 13, 15. The inner sections after drying under pressure align sandpaper (2).
Harvested from the paper tube and paint them in three colors mixed primer + tinting paste:
1) + 0.5 liters of primer 5, Art. l. caramel “Lemon”;
2) 0.5 l primer + 4 tbsp. l. caramel “Salad”;
3) 0.5 liters of primer + 4 tbsp. l. caramel “Green”.
In part 1 of n. 28 weave pattern from newspaper tubes.
Glue with braid detail on the item 2 of para. 28, paving between the layers of corrugated cardboard x / cotton fabric. Dry them under pressure.

Try on the door to the cabinet and, if necessary, to straighten them (Fig. A).
Leveled sections on the corrugated doors sandpaper (Fig. B).
Wallpapers door back and sides of the paper (Fig. A) and color ink in two or three layers (Fig. B).
Wallpapers door on the front side of the perimeter of paper tubes.
Gruntuem wicker part of the door with white glue and cover all the doors with transparent varnish in two layers.
On the back wall of the cabinet in the places where we compacted cardboard (p. 15) and fasten with screws and metal plates canopies.
By the cabinet and the door hinge screws fasten attachments.
Attach to the door handle.
Dress up the door to the cabinet. And the kitchen cabinet is ready!
So it looks like in my kitchen.
To the dust did not get through the door braided with wicker on the back side of the plastic wrap can be attached.
