Yes, I am truly out of my mind when I thought to weave millions of little fabric strips would be fun. Therapeutic… yes, tedious… absolutely! I got the idea for this project when I saw this in Family Fun’s newest magazine and thought it’d be neat to do it with fabric instead of newspaper. I ended up using a roll of paper towels for my form instead of their suggested roll of toilet paper… t.p. was not quite big enough for what I needed!
Here it is all finished! I do love how it turned out and that it’s an actual functional basket that won’t unravel when it’s put to good use, yay me!
