How to make table with fruit crates

Here is the table top that I placed next to the living room put in my garden to put the ashtray, magazines or glasses for the drinks.

I thought to do this using two fruit boxes which I procured from the market fruit vendor.

First I removed two bars, only from a cassette in the
forward part, then I put one above the other with the pasting VINAVIL and secured with small nails. It seems a nightstand.

At the top I tried to make it with no height difference between putting a slash and the other, cutting to size, the previously removed bars.

I then painted all the white table, giving two good coats of matte varnish. Here he is finished ready for use.
