Purpose: manufacturing based on the compositions of the Khokhloma in quilling techniques.

– Educate the artistic taste.
Khokhloma is a decorative painting wooden utensils and furniture, made with red, green and black tones on golden background.
It is believed that the Khokhloma painting originated in the XVII century on the left bank of the Volga, in the villages of Great and Small idleness, Mokushino, Sabbaths, Glibin cartilage. Khokhloma village was a major center of distribution, which was taken to finished products, and from there came the name of painting.
The painting looks bright despite the dark background. Used such colors as red, yellow, orange, some green and blue. Often used a golden color. Traditional elements Khokhloma – red juicy berries of mountain ash and wild strawberries, flowers and twigs. Often there are birds, fish and animals.
I was given a plate with motifs of Khokhloma.

So the idea of manufacturing pattern based on Khokhloma.
For work you need the following materials and tools:
Paper for pastels or watercolors,
Bands for quilling 3 mm wide and 30 cm long,
PVA glue,
Ruler,
Pencil,
Scissors,
Tweezers,
Ruler – stencil
Toothpick split end,
A thin skewer glue application,
Frame size 30×30 cm
In Photoshop, you can process the image so that there was only the contour elements. Print on a printer, and the template is ready for work.
Fix the template under glass, in which the individual elements will collect,
this will enable them to comply with the dimensions.
Let’s start with the berries. They consistently 1/2 glue yellow stripes, one whole red and yellow, 1/2 red stripes. Roll to dissolve in the lineup. Diameter define the pattern.
Prepared berries decompose on the template to make sure the correct size.
For the middle of the flower glue on alternate half yellow, red, yellow and red stripes. Roll to dissolve to the desired size in the lineup. To glue the petals of a yellow band and half of red and orange stripes. Dissolve the rolls and attach the form of drops. Merge the first row of petals.
For outer row of petals do two yellow stripes and one red. Collect flower.
Adding another 6 yellow petals that are glued on top.
We continue to work on the template. Collect leaves, twigs, small berries. Rolls can be arbitrarily dissolve and give them form, referring to the template.
