Painting a vase with stained-glass paints
Hello! Today I offer a painting of a very nice vase in “stained glass” technique, which even a beginner can perform. Simple and very beautiful!
For decorating the vase we will need:
glass vase for painting, stained glass and ceramics, stained-glass paints, brushes, scotch, pencil, sheet of paper, scissors , alcohol and cotton pad.
Try on a piece of paper, putting it in a vase. Then we draw the Firebird with a simple pencil.
We carefully wipe the vase with a cotton disc moistened with alcohol. Then insert inside the vase a sheet of paper with the selected pattern and fix it with adhesive tape.
With a golden outline we slowly circumnavigate the details. Each continuous line, so that the paint does not spread when pouring. If the line is interrupted, you can gently erase the failed site and draw the line again. Let the contour dry thoroughly. The required amount of time is indicated in the instructions on the label.’
After the contour has dried, we continue to work!
Using a thin brush, we drip the stained-glass paint into the right place with the right color and very quickly help it to spread over the whole area of the fragment.
We try to distribute the paint from the first attempt correctly, because the stained-glass paints do not like it when they lead the brush many times at the same place in the picture
At the edge of the feathers make a gold outline of the point.
nd that’s what a beautiful vase turned out!
I wish you good luck, joyful creativity and excellent mood
