Sew the bag in the african style
To work you will need:
- Cloth Bag – 40 cm x 30 cm
- Cloth trim (striped) – 2 strips of 7 cm x 45 cm • 2 strips 5.5 cm x 30 cm
- Fabric for lining (red) – 2 rectangles 21 cm x 30 cm
- black zipper length 35 cm
- thin foam or batting – 45 cm
I cut out the fabric to the dimensions given above
Pinned to the base fabric batting
zigzag stitch, trim excess
Fold the strip in 7 cm, twist angles, ironed
stitch
fold the strip in half and chalk mark the center
pull off
On the side in the middle of the 30 cm mark
Connect the center with the center of the fabric ruffles
Folded, leaving the side of 2 cm
stitch zigzag stitch
5.5 cm strip stitch on the wrong side
turn out
Thread the cord
Handles for bags ready
From the center to measure at 7 cm
Sew handle
Stitch the zipper
Release bag
Stitched liner, leaving 10 cm from the lower side eversion
