Japanese cherry blossom tree from embroidery

embroidery embroidery

Hello! Today you will learn how to embroider Japanese cherry blossom. Cherry blossom is known as “Sakura” in Japanese, and it’s the country’s national flower. Every spring in Japan takes place a tradition known as hanami which directly means to watch flowers (cherry blossoms) but also indicates to have a picnic beneath the cherry blossom tree. All of this has inspired me to embroider this cherry blossom. This idea can be embroidered on your favorite garment and give that special touch of elegance. These flowers can be embroidered on any fabric and on any garment. I invite you to make them and you will realize that they are easier than they seem. Fabric used: Linen.
