Hello all, I am still here to offer a watch that I did again use the paper straws. It is quite simple but it takes as usual only so much patience !!
First I did a lot of paper straws with the pages of a typical magazine “People” or the like.
So the usual rolls, of different sizes as shown in the photo below. The middle instead I made larger. I then assembled them together with glue, creating a pattern. I spent on all other elongated glue lightly with water to make it all well resistant.
I then painted it all with the red acrylic paint. I bought a mechanism for the Chinese watches (2 euro and 90) and I have applied to the composition of paper wheels. You can also use that of an old clock.
