Here I am still here to offer a panel made with paper straws, in which I included a small blackboard and two containers to put cards, bills, chalk and sponge.
They serve several straws of paper, board, glue, acrylic paints and lots of patience!
We begin giving us the cardboard, cut a rectangle of 25 cm × 45cm and we cover it with pasting straws next to one another on one side only.
We cut then the straws seems to cardboard. We finish the edges by gluing a round of paper folded twice. We spend plenty of glue on all the straws and let it dry.
Meanwhile, we do the two small containers, I used two boxes of a creme caramel and ‘other containing medicines. They serve to protrude too tight otherwise. I removed one hand to get what you see in the picture below.
I made two holes and I put the rope that then I will need to give more support to the container.
I have them covered with straws, leaving only the side that will be glued to the panel. The inside of the I lined with fancy paper.
I painted everything with brown acrylic paint.
I made two holes on the panel in correspondence of those facts in the containers and I made out on the rope behind, I also put the glue and I then made a knot on the back. I performed the same procedure with the second.
I put wrapping paper all over the back to finish everything.
At the top and containers I decorated by decoupage.
At the back, I attached two hooks to attach it to the wall.
There it ended.
