Old pot decorate with crepe paper
In order for your house plants to live in beautiful “houses”, it is not necessary to buy some expensive pots. Having shown a little imagination, you can transform the old flower pots and flower pots that are in your house beyond recognition. One of the options is to decorate them with crepe paper!
For decoration you will need:
crepe paper of the color that best suits your interior
scissors
double sided tape
Let’s get to work!
We cut 10-15 strips of paper, about 15 cm wide
Now we need to twist the flagella from these bands. But they should not be dense! Begin to wrap the paper obliquely, as shown in the photo below.
Twisting the flagellum, it needs a little crumple. Do not worry, it’s only at the initial stage, it all looks a little careless. In fact, it is necessary to crumple the paper in order to give it more texture.
Here are such careless twisted strips of crepe paper you should get.
The material for decoration is completely ready for us. To fix it on a pot, glue it at a certain distance from each other strips of double-sided scotch (4-5 strips will be enough).
Now we begin to weave the flower pot with semi-finished paper. You can do this from paper of the same color or combine several colors. Do this carefully so that no gaps remain. Next piece of paper start to glue exactly where the previous one ended. So, the strip behind the strip, the flower pot is transformed beyond recognition.
Here we have such a bright original “house” for a flower and it is ready to take its place on the windowsill!
If you have a desire, you can attach some more decorative details to the updated floral “house”. These can be beads or rhinestones, a beautiful bow or flower from organza, ladybugs or butterflies made of colored cardboard. For example, on this updated flower pot flew two lovely dragonflies.
Creative inspiration to you!
