Mandala in the style of “Tibetan weaving”

I love to weave the mandala and decided to share with you one of the ways of weaving. Tibetan style different from the usual that is woven on a square grid … but … everything in order

2 3 4

For work, we need:
skewers for barbecue (I have a length of 20cm, but can be more) – 8pcs
thread for weaving – floss and toffee (or any) – different colors
free time and a little Patience
Mark up sticks mesh 4 * 4 ie 5 pieces of 4cm (I have sticks of 20cm)

It should get here this grid

Fastening small squares (tails I Always cut at the end of the work)
makes sure that our grid is not “walk” and was in the same plane.
Some of the fortress plaiting do additionally crossbar on the back side, but I personally much difference in weaving – with an additional crosspiece and without – not noticed.

Scourge small squares (in fact, you can do without them, just for myself, I chose this design). We try to, they were the same size.
Tails … of the closed part of circumcised … not terrible ๐Ÿ™‚

8 (1)

The fun begins – the weaving pattern ๐Ÿ™‚
Conditionally select the “tip” and weave “squares” on the following after the top of the skewers.

Now in the second after the “apex”

Now, the very “tip”

and perpendicular to it ๐Ÿ™‚

repeat claim 6 – 7 – 8 – 9 by threads of a different color to the desired thickness

Look where it is still sticking tails – Crop. Almost done…

I added two rows of thread on the perimeter and made โ€‹โ€‹a loop.
The remains protruding shpazhek fashionable color, you can wear beads or wrap the thread.
I liked the result – there will be extra beads
